Universitat Abat Oliba CEU, in Barcelona –along with Universidad CEU San Pablo in Madrid and Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera in Valencia- is a privately run and social initiative university part of the CEU Educational Group, a work of the Catholic Association of Propagandists. CEU Universities ranked sixth in Spain and 401-500 worldwide in the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2021 edition.

Officially recognized as a private university in 2003, Universitat Abat Oliba CEU has more than forty years of experience as a higher education institution, strongly committed to Catholic thought, education and research.

It currently has three Schools: Law & Business, Communication, Education and Humanities, and Psychology, with 14 graduate programs four of which are bilingual- 17 masters programs, 8 postgraduate programs and an International School of Doctorate that offers four doctoral programs (Humanities for the Contemporary World, Law & Economics, Social Communications and Translational Medicine).
