Università Europea di Roma ("UER") is a private university, of Christian and Catholic inspiration, promoted by the Ecclesiastical Body "LC", Respecting the autonomy of knowledge, the University promotes a conception of science placed at the service of the individual, for human dignity and civil coexistence among peoples, according to the spirit of Catholicism and its demands for freedom.
UER pursues the goal of preparing committed people able to live and solve cultural and social problems, according to the spirit and ethics of the Gospel.
Teaching and research activities are mainly oriented to develop themes and reflections in the framework of an international context, encouraging synergies with other foreign education and research bodies whose share common guidelines and principles.
To this end, UER promotes international scientific cooperation, fosters European integration, sensitizes teachers and students mobility and facilitates the recognition of educational curricula and academic qualifications.
